When Danish Auto Maker Zenvo Automotive and the sole US Dealer, Emporio Motor Group needed to transport the $1.8M Supercar coast to coast on a media tour, they selected GT Enclosed Transport. As with any new product launch, timing is everything. When you add in some of the biggest news media, entertainment and communication outlets spread out over the Los Angeles and New York Markets coupled with a very tight deadline of scheduled appearances things might get a little tense.

The Zenvo ST-150S arrived in Los Angeles and as planned GT Enclosed Transport delivered the car to NBC’s Jay Leno for a sneak peek and test ride for a segment on Jay Leno’s Garage. “Jay Leno is the ultimate car guy and he has all the credentials to be considered one of the best sources to reach millions and millions of enthusiasts with your automotive related product. With the Los Angeles appearances completed on Friday, we put the Zenvo ST-150S on board a dedicated GT Enclosed Transport transporter for the 2,777 mile trip across the US to New York.” Stated Ken Gold, GT Enclosed Transport Founder and President.

The transport driver with my car called me late yesterday afternoon to tell me he could deliver my Cobra around 9pm as he was at the entrance to Alligator Alley heading east .

That would have drop off 2 days ahead of your earliest estimate on delivery.

I told the driver it would be safer to deliver the car at night in South Central LA than the industrial area my plant is in, where I keep my car toys.

We agreed on an 8am delivery this morning.

The driver was outside our fence at 6:30am my people tell me. We unloaded, inspected, I paid and he was down the road by 9am.

Ken, I’m impressed, you delivered safely and way ahead of time, the experience was a pleasurable one.

We will do business again.

Billed out as the most expensive vehicle of the 2012 New York Auto Show, the original 1962 Shelby CSX2000 Cobra made its way from The Shelby Foundation in California to the Big Apple by way of a GT Enclosed Transport auto carrier. “I loved the article in the April 1st edition of The New York Post written by Annie Karin and specifically the quote by John Luft, President of Shelby American. “The car is returning to the scene of the crime.” “It was unveiled in New York 50 years ago and this is its first return to New York since then.” Commented Ken Gold, Founder and President of GT Enclosed Transport.

Hello Friends
Well, we got it done! The truck driver in the enclosed car carrier called about 3:30 PM Friday (the 27th of Jan, 2011) and said his GPS indicated our street (Morgan Rd) was quite rural and a secondary road. I told him I had seen very large trucks on the road. Then he told me his rig was 83′ long! OOPSY..He called me when he was on Morgan Rd and told me “I should not be on this road!!! Nobody can get by me!!!” He was about 500 yards away so we, then directed, and diverted traffic (a total of three cars on our very rural road). You had to see it to believe it! It took about two hours on a dark, cold, foggy, rainy night, but a little blood, sweat and tears, plus the next-door neighbor’s tractor prevailed over the downpour and fog!

The three step-sisters are now together snug, warm and safe!
