Paul Newman started his career off in the lime light of the big screen but quickly found a calling in the race world. The first picture was
from 1979 where he won the C Production Championship in his Datsun 280zx turbo.
The black and white is a picture from the 1984 Trans-Am 100 race where Newman
took 9th place in his 280zx. Funny side note: Newman never pocketed any money
from his sponsor Budweiser, he would only accept cases of beer for his place finishes.

When Dean introduced himself to actor Alec Guinness outside the Villa Capri restaurant in Hollywood, he asked him to take a look at Dean’s new 550 Spyder. Guinness thought the car appeared ‘sinister’ and told Dean: “If you get in that car, you will be found dead in it by this time next week.” This encounter took place on September 23, 1955, seven days before Dean’s death.
